LVCA - MMIXTAPE
LVCA - MMXTAPE by LVCA
It seems like every blog is compiling their best of 2010 compilations. If I were to do such a thing (which I can't because I can't spin a basketball; let alone an hour's worth of music) it would sound something like this. Many of these artist have been featured on the blog in 2010 or would have if I had not been so damn lazy this year.
This mixtape is brought to you by LVCA who is a dj from Italy. That is all I got for you unfortunately. Nothing came up on the google search and no bio on his recently created soundcloud page. All I know is I am digging his best of tracks of 2010. What a perfect way to reflect on another year of amazing music. I hope you enjoy the quick flash back.

Sound Cloud and Red Bull Music For Android!!!
It feels like Christmas has come again! Sound Cloud has released an official app for android and it blows the pants off the paid app I bought months ago. You got to go here to check out all the features but it includes a playable dashboard, all the favorites and uploads you create, plus a record and search feature. For FREE. Sound Cloud you made my 2010 very enjoyable and now I will have you everywhere in 2011.
I also saw that Red Bull Music Radio finally released a mobile app for you Android operating people. This is the one feature that made me really sad when I play with my Fiancee's iphone. Now I got that too! To find it just search for Red Bull Music Academy in your market place for the free download. Hell of a last two days for me and my Droid.

Portland Cello Project "Denmark"
I bought the Portland Cello Project on Friday and its been on playing here and there over the last 48 hours. Driving into work, with the ice sparkling on trees and the sun rising over the skyline of Atlanta, it finally sunk in how incredible this music is. I had no idea that they had a video out for "Denmark" which is one of my favorite tracks on their latest cd Thousand Words.

INSA is unbelievable
Kayne West - "Blame Game" (Calvertron Remix)
Go download this ill dubstep nastiness from Calvertron remixing the better than expected Kayne Joint. I can't believe how much I am growing on the Kayne West Album. Most of my hating is because it is Kayne, who has turned into a mainstream mogul. Goes to show you that fame doesn't always water down your music. Mad props to Kayne and Calvertron who always brings it.

How to Dress Well "Waking up to Life Sometimes Seems Worse" (Video)
HOW TO DRESS WELL "WAKING UP TO LIFE SOMETIMES SEEMS WORSE" from Yours Truly on Vimeo.
I recently downloaded How to Dress Well and put it in my new music playlist. The track "Suicide Dream 2" was so haunting and beautiful I went out to find more on them. This video stopped me in my tracks. I had to post the sounds and words of HTDW immediately... I still have goose bumps writing this.
"i lost my best friend and i sang this song for him. this was a really beautiful and sad experience for me – the video is the only take of the song, the first time i've ever played it, culling the lyrics from memory and singing from my soul with and for my boy.
i hope if you've lost someone you love you know that this shit is from the bottom of the hear
love,

Metric meets the Hood Internet
The Hood Internet x Metric by hoodinternet
I know it sounds like a broken record sometimes when I am always posting my "favorite" artists up here. Well, these ARE some of my favorite artists. My love of the Hood Internet and their remix skills is well documented. I have been a fan of Emily Haines aka Metric for years now. It doesn't really fit in with the electronic centric feel of this blog but she is fantastic none the less. Good mix of genera and Metric vocals in this one. Enjoy. Happy Friday Everybody!

It Came From the Cloud: Volume One
Over the past week have been working on our first ever compilation release from Smith Blogs Atlanta. This Soundcloud compilation features some of the best free remixes put out on the back half of 2010. You can download all the songs featured in It Came From the Cloud: Volume One here in one nicely put together package. The album itself is spit into two downloads but each song is tagged and tracked to stay together. So without further adeau;
Crystal Castles - Baptism (Punks Jump Up remix) by Punks Jump Up
Starting off with this killer Crystal Castles Remix by Punks Jump up. Their soundcloud page features a bunch of remixes from Yelle to Miami Horror. Definitely worth going over to their page and just hitting play. Haven't heard a bad remix from them yet.
LaZebra - Mind Tricks (Justin Faust Remix) by Justin Faust
I chose this remix because Justin Faust is a pure genius when it comes to him making mixtapes. His stuff is some of the craziest mixes that I have heard by always keeping you guessing from track to track and genera to genera. This track was my favorite track on his Flutschfinger Mixtape from earlier this year so I had to include it!
Bag Raiders - Way Back Home (Universe Remix) by Falcona
Late addition to the Compilation. Heard it through the Falcona Agency Soundcloud Page and it just stuck. Nice melodic electronic that fix well with the line up.
The Hood Internet - I XXXOed (M.I.A. x Sufjan Stevens) by hoodinternet
Earlier this year I trashed MIA for her lastest album. I'll confess that now I really like it. Anytime I can, I try to give her some good press. One of my favorite song that she has done and no one could of pulled it off better than The Hood Internet. These two from Chicago create the most interesting remixes. Period. And they are all 100% free to download. This Sufjan Stevens vs MIA remix is no exception.
Duran Duran - Rio (Fare Soldi "Sposerò Simon Le Bon" rmx) by FARE SOLDI
A Duran Duran Disco remix? Really? Yeah, Fare Soldi decided to tackle "rio" and absolutely slay it. These dudes are incredible. Click on the link for all their remixes and mixtapes. There is enough music there for days of enjoyable listening.
IN FOR THE KILL - GENRE CHANGING SMASH UP- DJ EDIT 320 by SMASH GORDON - SUBHUMAN
It couldn't be a best of without a little Dubstep. I love this remix of both the local Atlanta based Le Castle Vania and Skrillex together. How it starts and how it finishes are totally unexpected.
Nas & Damian Marley - As We Enter (Foamo Remix) full download by Foamo
Give me a good wooble bassline and a siren and Damian Marley... I am sold. The fact that is came from the one and only Foamo is just another reason this track found its way one the first every Smith Blogs Atlanta Compilation.
Mike Hulme - Sweet Inspiration (Boonos Mix) (FREE DOWNLOAD) by boonos
I have been following Boonos on soundcloud for some time now. This remix is only ten days old so it's hot off the press. Perfect to follow the Foamo track. Unrelenting. Electro. Its just Hot.
Groove Me (Clockwork Remix)- Maximum Balloon Ft. Theophilus London by ClockworkMusic
If MIA had not already been featured on this compilation I would of put ClockWorks's MIA remix of Steppin Up . His Maximum Balloon's remix is also pretty ridiculous. His page features tons of remixes as well as some quality mixtapes. SBA is a fan.
Barbra Streisand- Duck Sauce (Fare Soldi - Duck Soldi rmx) by FARE SOLDI
I know, I know... Fare Soldi has already got a remix on this album but... who can hate Duck Sauce's Barbara Streisand. Like really, it is the catchiest tune I have heard since that Young Folks whistling song that wouldn't go away.
**FREE DOWNLOAD** BackBeat SoundSystem-No.3 Dogma Street (Rektchordz Remix) by Rektchordz
This one is a newer remix that you can find on It Came From the Cloud: Volume One. This was release a month ago by one of my soundcloud favorites Rektchordz. His second sick remix of BackBeat Soundsystem. Nice Ragga/electro feel to it...
Reset! - If We Try (The Love Anthem) (Broke One Remix) by Broke One
In the past four month many tracks have come and gone from my phone but this one I can't get myself to delete it. It features two of my favorite artists on SoundCloud, Broke One and Reset!. The original is so brutally hard. Broke one flips this hard electro track into funked out house version. If I were to end a set to send people home with, I would spin this gem last.
Thank you all for the continued support over the years. If you want to repost the compilation feel free. I think it is important to spread music that you love. I hope that you can enjoy these artists as much as I have over the past year. Cheers and Happy Holidays. I can't wait until Volume Two!

Fare Solid - Duran Duran "Rio" Remix
So far my favorite remix of the week. Anytime you tackle a classic like this it could either be brilliant or just terrible. Fare Soldi just has a sound that can't be reproduced. Epic remix here:

Cassette Kids
The Cassette Kids have opened for all the big Australian acts including SBA Favorites; The Presets. They have also toured with Lily Allen and New Young Pony Club the past few years. I totally believe this female lead electronic / rock outfit will be head lining acts soon enough. I haven't picked up the new album, Nothing on TV but their 2009 EP titled Spin has unbelievable catchy hooks that sets this group for invasion of American Top 40...

Digitalism 2010
Digitalism is back with a new album. I doubt I will get the chance to see them up close and personal again. It was a fluke that I even got to the show the first time a few years back. My friend Jorge convinced me to go last minute, on a weeknight, to a band I had never heard before. After that show I was fan for life. Here's a little flash back from March 2008.
Need a little more? Here's another single off the soon to be released album.

Brandon Benson and The Posies's Thanksgiving Lessons
The Posies and Brandon Benson was the last concert I went to before heading home to see the family. It was the last place I ever thought I would learn a Thanksgiving Lesson. After the third song the Posies played, their lead singer stopped the set. "I want to point something out to all of you..."
Brandon Benson
At this point my heart stopped in mid-beat. The entire first part of the set, he kept looking my direction. I always wondered what musicians think of people like me filming them on stage. I started thinking to myself, "Brent, you are finally going to find out..."
The Posies
He continued, "You all may of not noticed but this lady in the front row [directly in front of me] has been singing every single word of both Brandon's set and ours. I just wanted to let you know that is amazing and the reason that we keep playing music for people like her." He continued to interview her from the stage and continued to thank her for being a fan and coming out.
There were probably less than 100 people in the entire place but that one person made an impression on The Posies. After a career that spanned all the way back to the 80s, I felt that in just those few moments I was experiencing something special and reflective for the band. They could of sold out the Phillips Arena but I truly felt that Bebe in the front row singing her heart out to every song would mean more. Walking out of the Posies I was reminded to be thankful for anyone and everyone who supported me along the way. The Holiday Season is the perfect time to let them know.

Katy B "On a Mission EP"
I first heard this unbelievable unique voice over some crazy dubstep on the LuvStep live mix from the Philly Mad Decent Block Party. At the time I had no idea who Katy B was. Then a month later, I heard her again on the incredible Magnetic Man album. Just today, I got my hands on Katy B's "On a mission EP" that features Louder as and extra. Every time I hear another song, I like her more and more. I wonder what her chances are of blowing up American Top 40 radio in the next six months??? If I were a betting man, I would drop some major cash on those odds.
Shit Robot "Take 'Em Up"
It has been no secret that SBA and Shit Robot are FAF's (Favorite Artists Forever)... So without further interuption, here is the newest Shit Robot release featuring Nancy Whang from LCD Soundsystem / Juan Maclean...

Girl Talk - All Day
Its been a minute since Girl Talk obliterated everything you thought you knew about music. In terms of being able to mash anything and everything, Girl Talk is an absolute expert.
In most of his mixes he mashes three and four tracks together. No genera is off limits. For example he starts this newest mix with Ozzie Ozborne providing the beat for Ludacris. Each mash up brings back everything you loved about music for the last 30 years. 80, 90, and the 00's are forced to get along in a way that only Girl Talk can pull off. The is must have and its free. For my Atlanta people, tickets are on sale now for his January 21st show at the Tabernacle.

Gruff Rhys "Shark Ridden Waters" (video)
Not a huge fan of either Super Furry Animals or Neon Neon but I love this track. Maybe its time I re-evaluate my feelings on SFA & NO Front Man Gruff Rhys also. I will be lining up to buy the solo album when it gets released in February 2011...

Reset! - If we try (Love Anthem) - Broke One Remix
Reset! - If We Try (The Love Anthem) (Broke One Remix) by Broke One
I absolutely adore the original of this song. After hearing it for the first time, I immediately went out and bought anything Reset! related that I could find. I ran across a remix of this club anthem from last year remixed by Broke One. He totally flipped the script on the remix. The original was a glitched out hardcore elctro banger. This Broke One remix has got swag for days.
If you are a fan of Reset!, I stumbled upon this June Mix that slipped past me. If you like the sounds of Broke One, make sure you check out his Soundcloud page for exclusive remixes and his killer mixtape he did for Too Many Sebastians. Enjoy.
Paris Jones feat. April Kelly "Winter" (Video)
Paris Jones feat. April Kelly, "Winter" from Clement & Co. on Vimeo.
Wait for it... This track totally took me off guard. It starts out like something I would hear put out by Aurevore Simone but turn into something a young Kayne West would produce. It is rare that you see SBA post some hip hop up on the blog but this track can't be looked over. The Video is both visually amazing and the track sounds incredibly fresh. If you like this Paris Jones Joint, make sure you pick up his free mixtapes - From Paris with Love or Paris to J.A.P.A.N..

Midland - Fact Mix 185
Its been a while since I posted a Mixtape up here. Its not like I have been running into a bunch of great mixes and not sharing with y'all. To tell you the truth I have been only been listening to one mix lately and it has been this Midland joint. I really, really love the vibe on this one. The track selection is diverse enough to keep your guessing but each track is similar enough to work together to make a complete sound.
If you got time, take a few minutes to read the Fact Mag Interview linked below. This young cat from Leeds is doing big things in the English music scene. I expect to hear him state side shortly.

Matt & Kim - Side Walks
Exhibit One:
Exhibit Two:
Matt & Kim - Block After Block by smithblogsatlanta
Exhibit Three:
Matt & Kim - Red Paint by smithblogsatlanta
Now after those three exhibits of greatness, you should either A) jumping to concert list and crossing your fingers that these two haven't already played in your town or b) buy the album by finding $7 in the cracks of our couch or in your jeans pockets while doing laundry.
I won't lie to you and tell you that Matt & Kim have done something revolutionary in their third release. They didn't add band members. They didn't add strings or guitar or some crazy shit like that. They kept to what has made them so widely popular.
Great percussion from Kim. Fun synthesizers and melody from Matt. Energy for days. Songs that make you want to dance in the living room by yourself with the blinds drawn. For fans of the band, you will not be disappointed. For new comers, if the two songs above remotely interested you, all the music on the new album holds up to that same integrity. There are no throw aways with this one.
I have had "block after block" posted for only a few days on my soundcloud page and it has already received 1/4 of my total plays. That is incredible. Each time I see the band, more and more people are singing every word. This year is their first headlining tour and from the videos I saw at the masquerade, they packed the place. Next year when they come through Atlanta they will be filling the Tabernacle.
The thing about Matt & Kim, you can't help but fall in love with them when watching them live. My mouth literally hurt from smiling so much the first time I saw them. They genuinely love playing and you can tell by watching them live. That same love permeates through their music. It is this love that continues to build fans at an incredible rate. I hope through this post that I can help them gain another. They deserve it.

MIA - Stepping up (An-Ten-Nae Acid Crunk Remix)
M.I.A - Steppin Up (An-Ten-Nae Remix) by an-ten-nae
I just ran across this San Francisco producer remixing M.I.A. on soundcloud this afternoon. I was instantly intrigued and can't wait to start surfing through his remixes. Also make sure to check out his website for remixes for purchases and free mixtapes. A little about the artist from his bio:
"An*Ten*Nae is one of San Francisco’s most sought after DJs and live performers. He has taken the art of live remixing to new heights with his own customized setup, that bends genres in ways seldom heard. This sound is called Acid Crunk, and there are no rules, no restraints in its quest for a pure sound that is not Homogenized."

Evil Nine Shows Their True Colors
Evil Nine's VHS Halloween Party Part Three (2010) by Evil Nine
The boys from Evil Nine have always categorized themselves as the darker side of electronic music. Most of their album covers are depicted with horror scenes, graveyards, and the undead. Their music shares those same dark undertones. It seems only fitting that they would put together the mother of all Halloween mixes. With the October holiday right around the corner, download this mix and start to get in the spirit. I'll stop talking about it and just let the guys from Evil Nine tell you about their mix:
"It's that time of year again; the time of year where we spend a incredibly long day in the studio listening to incredibly dark and depressing music and dialogue from old horror movies until it drives us fucking insane. We've risked our nerves and sanity to bring you this lovely collection of VHS era electronic horror soundtracks by popular artists such as Chuck Cirino, Tanizaki Tetora, Simon Boswell and Terry Taylor. Plus it includes four previously unreleased Evil Nine horror tracks. VHS 'Party' is maybe overdoing it a bit, we're not completely sure how you're supposed to party to it but I'm sure you'll enjoy it's spooky bounty all the same."
Track Listing:
1. Intro
2. Apocalypse New York / Bridge Out - Jay Chattaway / Joseph LoDuca
3. Killing Birds (Sequence 5) - Carlo Maria Cordio
4. Prime Time Interlude

IN3RTIA - October Mix
Inertia - October Mix (Dark and Twisted Tech) by IN3RTIA
I ran across this very dark and spooky Teck-House Mixtape yesterday. I know we still have another two weeks to go before Halloween but it is never to early to get in the spirit. Inertia labels this one dark and twisted techno and I totally agree!

John Legend vs Magnetic Man FTW!
Magnetic Man - Getting Nowhere (feat. John Legend) by smithblogsatlanta
This is the second time I have seen John Legend on an electronic track. I first heard him on MSTRKFT's "Heart Breaker" last year now he re-appears on Magentic Man's newest release. Enjoy the incredible voice and sound of this collaboration.

Rye Rye feat. M.I.A. "Sunshine"
I spent the whole last part of the week seeing posts about the new Rye Rye & M.I.A. track "Sunshine" but never got around to watching the video. I finally did and boy is it worth the hype. Great visually and a terrific beat. Rye Rye's rhymes reminded me of a young Trina and M.I.A. has never sounded better singing. Must see TV for this morning.

Blood Bros: First Blood Mixtape
DJS and DJA have made a Mixtape for the Mad Decent Blog and I thought it was appropriate to share with you all on Friday. For my working people out there, its hard to get motivated with the weekend so close you taste it. This is THE most ridiculous motivational mixtapes of the year. Strangely, I keep playing it :)
Do you like 80s music? Do you like 80s boxing, karate, fighting, rambo-esque movies? If you just answered yes to either of these and you don't take you music listening too seriously, this Mixtape is for you. Enjoy and have a safe weekend.

I love Mixtapes that kick your ass but don't make your ears bleed in the process. This is one of the more intense 30 minutes that you will spend today. If you are struggling to finish that three mile run in the park or are behind on that English Lit paper due in an hour, press play and get to it! Wicked Electro that never stops... Enjoy.

The XX - VCR (FOUR TET REMIX)
The xx - VCR (Four Tet remix) by Four Tet
It looks like this week's theme is remixes by my favorite artist of my favorite artist. These two together make an amazing track. SBA has been big fans of The XX since their debut album dropped. I got excited when I saw that the one and only Four Tet was applying his spaced out minimal sounds to the ever growing English indie group. Four Tet's version of the song is allot faster than what I was expecting. The remix reminds me of something Latin (almost a spaced out salsa). In 13 hours it has already gotten 12,179 hits on Soundcloud! I hope you take the time to listen and add to that number.

Crystal Castles - Baptism (Punks Jump Up remix) by Punks Jump Up
This is the newest remix from the London duo Punks Jump Up. With these two, I have found that anything they decide to remix will be amazing. Once again, I am not disappointed with their unique spin on Crystal Castles "Baptism."

Shit Robot "From the Cradle to the Rave"
Today marks the second day of my Shit Robot play-a-thon. I have been listening to this album constantly since I downloaded it. It's just plain good old pimp robot shit. I would point out favorites but every track is pretty much incredible by themselves. From the Cradle to the Rave is just a bunch of ill-disco-electro-grime with terrific vocal overlays. The guest vocal spots including Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor, LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and Nancy Whang, and the Juan MacLean, among others.. Don't believe me? Check out the vocals from Alexis Taylor here on SBA:

Gold Panda Album Review
Gold Panda - Same Dream China by smithblogsatlanta
This afternoon, I fell into a blissful nap. I awoke in my dream overlooking the contoured earth of central china. The rice terraces stretch for miles and miles. In the background, the mandolin fades in and out with the steady hum of the servers and processors fueling this dream. Electrical impulses streaked across the sky to the deep bass rhythms and simple but complicated hand clap beat.
I absolutely love music that will take me "there." Lying in bed, on the verge of unconsciousness, the music of Gold Panda and my imagination took me far away. The track I posted above, "Same Dream China", is just one of many incredible pieces on Gold Panda's latest release, "Lucky Shiner."
Gold Panda - Vanilla Minus by smithblogsatlanta
The formula for Gold Panda is fairly simple and straight forward. Many of the songs start off with a simple loop. A few of them, like "Vanilla Minus", are unbearably harsh and repetitive in the first bars. That is until the second wave of loops drop. Add in incredible bass line. Add in sweet sounding strings and a dance beat. Now you have something special from what seemed like nothing. The individual components to each song are very simple but the complexity of the composition is what makes this album truly remarkable [and an audio amusement park with headphones].
There have been very few releases this year that have rivaled Gold Panda. The best part about this music obsession is that even with the ridiculous amount of music I go through, I still find music that surprises me. I hope Gold Panda will do the same for you.

ContraVersy - Croque Du Cordes Mixtape
I have a little secret I have been keeping from you all... I have know that this Mixtape has been in the works now for a few weeks. Morrison of the dj group ContraVersy (formerly know as the MyMy Crew) told me him and Jasper had been working on something special. They didn't want to drop the new Mixtape until it was perfect.
I always get excited when I hear mixtapes where I know absolutely none of the tracks. With the amount of DJ sets that I listen to on a weekly basis, I tend to hear the same tracks but just in different orders. On their blog they boast a track line up with tracks of: rubix, French Fries, Boys Noize, Erol Alkan & Boys Noize, Justin Martin & Ardalan and many more. I love that I know all of these producers but each of their tracks on Croque Du Cordes are new to me.
Not only are ContraVersy bringing completely new bangers to my ears but they are mixing it with flawless transitions. Theses guys have always had talent behind the decks but the level of improvement between their last mixtape and now is quantifiable. Guys, it was well worth the wait!

Jayou Mix for Oscillate Widley
Jayou Mix For Oscillate Wildly by JAYOU
In April, I stumbled upon Jayou's "to be Mixtape" from a Mad Decent Blog Post. This was my first official introduction to the sound of DubStep.
My curiosity has lead me to download some really bad and some really good examples of the genera. So far my favorites have been Rusko and Jayou. Part of the reason why I like both of these artist is that they tend to bend the genera to touch all kinds of different musical tastes.
Typically when I think DubStep, I hear the grimy bass drones to the same reduced speed two step beat. I know that characterization is really unfair to the genera but I can't help it. Maybe everything Jayou spins is just DubStep that I haven't been exposed to. Maybe the Genera is growing to where you can't characterize it by a "sound".
Many years ago when you said the word "Techno" people automatically heard the "utz-utz-utz-utz..." sound in their head. Now if you hear someone call a type of music techno they are either a 30-something-year-olds like myself or are brand new to electronic music and don't know any better.
Electronic music has branched so far away from the "techno" of the 90s (house, trance, drum and bass, electro, ectro-pop, idm, minimal, two-step, garage, dubstep?). Maybe Dubstep is the "techno" of this next generation. What ever you call this movement, its coming, and I am ecstatic to be along for the ride.

Ducksauce "Barbra Streisand" (Fare Soldi Remix)
Ducksauce "Barbra Striesand" Fare Soldi Remix by smithblogsatlanta
"Barbra Streisand" is one of my favorite tracks of the year. Yesterday, when I saw this remix I freaked. Fare Soldi decided to tackle on of my favorites? This is too good to be true. Not only did their version live up to my expectations but they surpassed them. I especially love how they cut and chop the last 3rd of the song. Good work gentlemen! If you want to hear more from the Italian Djs, you can here more tracks on their soundcloud .

Chiddy Bang Behind the Scenes
Chiddy Bang behind the scenes at Glastonbury from this summer. I literally can't wait for the new album "The Preview." I love everything these guys do from the remixes to to their production work. 2010 has already been a huge year for the duo. Once their album drops, the year is going to get even hotter. Here's a tasty track to hold you over while you wait...

Wolf Parade
Wolf Parade - What did my lover say (it always had to go this way) by smithblogsatlanta
I rarely review rock bands here on SBA but this one really has to get some face time. I downloaded Expo 86 by Wolf Parade a few weeks ago and can't stop playing it.
Other than a horrendous first song on Expo 86, the album is terrific through and through. The vocals are so interesting sounding it makes you want more. The mix of classic electronic instrumentation and distortion is intriguing. I really don't know what else to tell you but they rock.
Listening to Expo 86' gave me flash backs to the first time I heard the Editors, The National, and Interpol. Lucky for me, I haven't heard the first two albums so I am going to have some homework to do in the near future. The foursome from Canada is currently touring Europe but I will be watching for US dates in the future.

Snowden's Back
You may be wondering why I am posting a Snowden concert from three years ago... It is because they are back. They may not release a lot of new music (One 5 song EP in 3 years) but they rock. I get excited any time they play and that is happening very soon. Check out Snowden at the Earl on September 25th...

LuvStep Live at Mad Decent Block Party
Luvstep Teaser from flufftronix on Vimeo.
Sorry that it has been a minute since my last post. Get ready to get bombarded with new music. Right now I am literally covered over in new tunes. LuvStep is just the first of many new sounds to share with you.
Although this is a short set is packed with great tracks. I really like that this mix is covered over in tracks and creative remixes I have never heard before. I am not really a huge dubstep fan but this is another mix that is helping change my mind. Dirty South Joe and Flufftronix group of LuvStep is definitely something SBA will keep an eye out in the future.

Yum, Duck Sauce
I give the NYC duo of Armand Van Helden & A-Trak props on their new single. It difficult for a electronic/dico/house group to make a legit mainstream video. Just watch, if this video gets into the right hands, they are going to have an incredible amount of traction. I have been following the electronic-semi-super-group closely after hearing the unbelievably catchy Barbara Streisand jam. I have added the O-God edit in for fun below. Looking forward to more work from them. Enjoy...
